David Magán (b. Madrid, 1979; lives and works in Guadalajara, Spain) is a sculptor an installation artist. His works chart the interplay between light, color, and space and examine questions of perception and materiality. Magán’s focus is on unfolding a playful dimension that reminds us of how we gazed as children and encourages us to defy the constraints of social conditioning and habits of seeing.
