Fabulous Little Guardians

Mary-Audrey Ramirez (b. Luxembourg, 1990; lives and works in Berlin, Germany) focuses on digital techniques and creatures from computer games. Her installations give the impression of being in the middle of an online game. The contrast between fantasy and real life as well as the constant migration of the digital into our world are integral parts of her practice.

The edition titled Guardian, consisting of five unique figures printed in sand, is released by DISTANZ Verlag as a teaser for Mary-Audrey Ramirez’s new monographic catalogue, which will be published in collaboration with Kunsthalle Gießen and Casino Luxembourg in 2024.
