Ironic Leaps of Thought

In his drawings, installations, and sculptural works, Werner Reiterer (b. Graz, 1964; lives and works in Vienna) addresses the social relationship between the individual and the collective, as well as that of humans and things. His conceptual works are based on an intensive engagement with philosophical, social, and scientific themes, culminating in the simple yet comprehensive question "Who are we?"
